Each template comes with a pre-built task list designed for that release type. When you create a project from a template — Single Release, Album/EP, Campaign, Music Video, Collaboration, or Live Show — the tasks are auto-created with relative due dates based on your target release date. You can edit or add tasks at any time.
Yes. Anyone you've added as a collaborator on the project can be assigned tasks. External collaborators see only the tasks assigned to them and the workspace content you've shared — not your full project settings.
A release is your music product — the tracks, metadata, and distribution record. A project is the operational workspace around it — the tasks, workspace doc, files, and calendar. You link a project to a release so everything stays connected, but they can also exist independently.
Task due dates in a project appear automatically on your melabel Calendar. If your release date is set, all auto-created tasks calculate their due dates relative to it — and those show up on the calendar the moment the project is created.
Yes. Templates are reusable. Every new project you create from the same template gets its own independent copy of the task list. Changes to one project don't affect others.
